Positioning Your Stamp
Move and rotate a stamp, choose whether documents share its position, and check the finished pages.
Move the stamp
- In the workspace, choose Check placement.
- Check the document name and page number before adjusting anything.
- Drag the stamp to a clear area of the page, away from text, signatures, and existing page numbers.
- Use the on-screen arrow controls for small adjustments. With the stamp focused, arrow keys also move it; hold Shift for larger steps.
The Layout tab in stamp setup has a Position picker for common placements. Use it for a starting location, then inspect the page.
Share a position or set documents separately
In the placement screen, Save position for all documents controls whether documents share a position.
- Leave it checked when the same location works throughout the set.
- Clear it before adjusting a document that needs its own location.
Use the document controls to visit the other exhibits and check their placement. Check multiple pages within each document, especially mixed page sizes and rotated scans.
Rotate or resize
Use the clockwise or counter-clockwise rotation buttons to turn the stamp in 90-degree steps. These rotate the stamp, not the source page. Use the size controls if the stamp is too large or too small. See stamp size.
Reset size changes the size while keeping your text and position. Reset to Default resets placement and rotation; inspect the result afterward.
Decide which pages receive a stamp
In setup’s Stamp tab, choose First page only, All pages, or Specific pages. For a custom selection, enter a range such as 1, 3-5. A page outside that selection intentionally has no exhibit stamp. Bates page numbers and classification labels have separate page settings.
Check the finished result
Choose Review all documents, or Review export for one document. Inspect the finished pages before downloading. To correct placement from that preview, choose Edit Position, adjust the stamp, and prepare the updated result again.
If the stamp is missing, check the selected page and page settings first, then follow stamp visibility help. If a page will not display, use the retry control and keep the workspace open. Use the issue-report option below if the problem continues; describe the page size and symptom without including confidential contents.
