Stamp Size on Different Page Sizes
Make a stamp readable without covering document content, and check mixed page sizes.
Judge stamp size on the document page, not only on the sample in stamp setup. Browser zoom also changes how large a page looks on screen.
Adjust the stamp size
- Open the Layout tab in stamp setup and move the Stamp Size slider.
- Choose Check placement to inspect the stamp on an actual page. The placement screen also offers Small, Medium, Large, and Extra large sizes.
- Use Reset size if you want to return to the template’s compact size. It keeps your text and position.
- Check that you can read the full stamp and that it stays clear of document text, signatures, and existing page numbers.
Long names or extra fields may need more space. A very small size may be unavailable to keep the text readable. Check customizing stamps if you need to change the wording or border.
Check different page sizes
The stamp adjusts for the page it is placed on. A small image page and a large drawing can therefore look different from a letter-size page. Visit each relevant page size and rotation in the preview; do not assume the first page represents the whole set.
Keep or reduce oversized pages
In Settings, Shrink to Letter Size reduces pages larger than 8.5 × 11 inches while preserving their shape and orientation. Clear it if you need oversized pages to retain their original dimensions. Changing this setting means you should prepare and review the files again.
If the result looks wrong
- Too large or covering text: reduce the stamp size or move it to a clearer area.
- Too small: increase its size and check the finished PDF at a useful viewing zoom.
- Hard to see on a scan or photograph: check the stamp color and position against the actual background. Do not rely on the sample alone.
- Not on this page: check First page only, All pages, or Specific pages in the Stamp tab. See stamp visibility help.
Choose Review all documents or Review export after adjusting placement. Open the saved PDF and check it before filing. If the preview and saved result still differ, keep the workspace open and use the issue-report option below to describe the page size and difference without sending confidential contents.
