Using the Keyboard

Move through controls and use the shortcuts available in setup, placement, and finished preview.

Shortcuts depend on what is open and which control has focus. Use Tab to move forward through controls and Shift + Tab to move back. Buttons and links work with their usual keyboard activation.

Start from the workspace

  1. Leave any text field before using a workspace shortcut.
  2. Press ?, or open Help → Keyboard shortcuts, to see the shortcut guide.
  3. Close the guide with Escape before continuing.

Use Command on Mac or Ctrl on Windows/Linux:

  • Command/Ctrl + P: open placement preview for the current document when it has a valid label, or blank-label mode is enabled.
  • Command/Ctrl + Enter: start stamping the uploaded documents. Duplicate-label checks still apply.
  • Command/Ctrl + S: start the available prepared-document download flow. Review, purchase, and save confirmation steps still apply. This is not the Save project action.

These workspace shortcuts pause while you type in a field, while processing is underway, or while a modal dialog is open. They do not bypass review or payment.

Move a stamp in Check placement

  1. Use Tab to focus the stamp itself, or click the stamp.
  2. Press an arrow key for a small move. Hold Shift for a larger move.
  3. Check that the stamp remains clear of document text.

The larger step is four times the smaller step. Arrow keys move the stamp only when the stamp has focus; otherwise they can scroll the page or operate the focused control.

To move between documents in placement preview, use [ and ]. Shift + Left/Right also changes documents when the focused stamp is not using it for a larger nudge. Brackets avoid that ambiguity.

Navigate the finished PDF preview

  • Left/Right: previous or next page.
  • [ / ], or Shift + Left/Right: previous or next document when the preview contains multiple files.
  • N: go to the next required review page, when one remains.
  • Escape: close the preview or follow its leave-review confirmation.

Use the visible review button when you are ready to approve the result. A focused button or link keeps its usual Enter behavior; pressing Enter elsewhere in required review can advance to the next required page or approve once review is complete.

If a shortcut does nothing

Check the focused control and any open dialog first. Finish the current operation, leave the text field, or close the dialog. You can always use the matching on-screen control. No shortcut is required to complete an exhibit set.
