Export and Download Options

Choose a combined PDF or separate exhibit PDFs, then save and check the finished files.

Choose the format your filing or sharing process needs. A download does not file anything with a court.

Choose your format

On Review your exhibit set, choose:

  • Separate Files (ZIP): one stamped PDF per exhibit, downloaded together. Open the ZIP and extract its PDFs before uploading or sharing individual exhibits. Your computer may display the extracted files in filename order.
  • Combined PDF: one PDF containing the exhibits in the order shown. It includes a table of contents by default; untick it if you do not want one. You can preview the combined result before paying.

With one exhibit, the download is a PDF. In the Download Center, the equivalent format choices are Individual files (.zip) and One combined PDF, when available before saving.

Review and save

  1. Check the exhibit list, labels, and chosen format. For a combined file, check the contents page and transitions between exhibits.
  2. Choose Review PDF export or Review ZIP export. Inspect the required pages, then choose I reviewed this exact export when the review is complete.
  3. Follow the purchase or license instructions if prompted. In the Download Center, choose Download your exhibit or Download all … exhibits.
  4. If a save window appears, choose Save the prepared file. Open the saved PDF, or extract and open the PDFs in the ZIP. Choose I saved and checked it only after checking the saved result.

Check the result: the saved file opens, every intended exhibit is present, and labels, page order, and placement match your review. Check the finished file size against your filing requirements.

Filenames and fillable forms

In stamp setup, Settings contains Use exhibit labels for filenames and Flatten PDFs.

Using exhibit labels names separate PDFs by label, such as A.pdf. Otherwise a source such as document.pdf becomes document_stamped.pdf.

Flatten PDFs turns completed form fields into fixed page content. Exhibit stamps are already page content. Flattening does not lock the PDF, prevent editing with PDF software, or redact anything. Check completed form entries in the finished PDF.

If saving fails

Keep the workspace open. Use Try the download again. If offered, Download as individual files instead saves the separate PDFs without first building a combined PDF or ZIP; check every file before confirming. See download recovery.

To keep the PDFs and settings together for later editing, use Save project after the finished download is confirmed. A project file is not the PDF you file.
