Getting Started
Choosing the Right Stamp Template
Choose a starting design, enter your own details, and check the stamp on your document.
Choose wording that fits your matter, such as a general exhibit, a party-specific exhibit, or a deposition exhibit. A template does not establish that a document is admitted or that a court will accept a filing.
Choose a design in the workspace
- Open the Stamp tab and choose Change template.
- Pick a common design, or choose Browse all templates to explore the full selection.
- Search for the wording or detail you need and choose the design.
- Enter your own details in the fields shown. Sample names and dates are examples.
The public template gallery also offers Preview stamp and Use this stamp. The latter opens the workspace with that design selected.
Common starting points
- Plaintiff’s or Defendant’s Exhibit: party wording with an exhibit number or letter.
- Deposition Exhibit: fields for a deponent’s name and date.
- Arbitration: claimant and respondent designs.
- Joint Exhibit: joint-exhibit wording; confirm its use with the applicable instructions or agreement.
Customize and check
- Choose the label mode and first exhibit label in the Stamp tab.
- Open Customize appearance & blank stickers if you want to change color or border shape.
- Choose Check placement. Read the full stamp on an actual page, including names, dates, and any prefix.
- Prepare the files and check the finished preview before downloading.
Changing templates can change the size, style, fields, or suggested label wording. Recheck those details after changing designs. See customizing stamps.
Return to a design or an earlier version
Recently used designs are shortcuts to templates. They do not restore a previous matter’s details or your earlier custom settings.
To return to a finished version with its saved settings, use Saved copies → Edit from this copy → Restore as new draft, when available. See saving and reopening projects.
If the stamp is crowded or incomplete, check its fields and size settings. If you still cannot find the needed control, use the issue-report option below to describe the wording you need, without confidential case details.
